Raja Yoga Center’s Environmental Initiatives

The Raja Yoga Center Environment Initiative (RYCEI) was formed in 2020 to sustain the dedication of its youth members who are actively participating in various environmental activities by taking positive action towards the environment. These young yogis took the first steps in the UAE to launch the Local Conference of Youth (LCOY) on Climate Change in 2020, under the guidance of YOUNGO, the official youth constituency of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC).

This seed of support has led to the Raja Yoga Center youth to further engage in the international gathering of youth in 2022 as part of the Conference of Youth during COP27 in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. They bring a new voice in raising a positive and non-violent perspective in environmental awareness among youth and children, providing creative and positive experiences.
